Erika is both a Registered Nurse and an Early Childhood Educator. These two areas have led to 20 years of working with families and children across Oregon. After more than 10 years of classroom experience, Erika transitioned to bedside nursing at a busy family birthing center. Working side by side with Affiongma and other healthcare professionals, Erika provided neonatal intensive care (NICU), pediatric, and perinatal support for individuals and families.
Erika has earned a Nursing Degree from Oregon Health and Science University, as well as additional degrees from Portland State University and Lane Community College.
